A land born of the sea, as we are reminded by its fossils, now covered over by neatly arranged crops, amid an almost wild nature. A land of country villages, ancient columns and little churches, rustic villas, and aristocratic residences. A horizon of hills with long rows of vines and dotted with olive orchards.
The Colli Berici are of volcanic origin and were formed about 60 million years ago by tectonic lifting and folding. The hills are perfect for winemaking, with production dating back to Paleolithic times. The nature of the soils ensures a rich, complex personality in wines that are both firmly structured and beautifully elegant.
Still white wine with a straw yellow color. A wealth of citrus aromas on the nose, with apple, peach, apricot, and almond. On the palate it's salty, fruity, full-bodied, and persistent.
Manually harvested in October. Then crushed and pressed in a pneumopress, static decantation, all at controlled temperatures. Aged in stainless tanks on the lees for at least 6 months. Then aged in partially in new French oak barrels for 8 months.

"A very present and important vine in the Veneto region. It's versatility allows you to produce sparkling, still, or straw wines. The grapes ripen the first half of October with a hard skin, particularly yellow and almost pink when it reaches maturity. It's not strong aromatically, but has a nose of white flowers, elderberry, and almond scents come through very clearly. More savory then minerally, while having a richness and complexity from the new oak barrels."

"Speak of the world’s most famous wine and you mean Bordeaux, speak of Bordeaux and you mean Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. I believe that, in absolute terms, these are the most generous grape varieties and those best suited to the most diverse terroirs and climates, always giving fine, if not excellent results. A combination in different percentages has always led to even better results. Cabernet Franc is more grassy, almost bug-like, with notes of red pepper, but what sets it apart is its powerful personality. Cabernet Sauvignon is more supple, harmonious and spicy, and it always gives excellent results, both alone and in a blend. Lastly, the Merlot brings in all the intensity and silkiness needed to create harmony and character. Dimezzo is a perfect fusion of flavors and fragrances that combines power and elegance for a rich, harmonious palate."

"His most close twin is probably the Grenache, a French vine from midi and the cote du Rhône. This is an intriguing vine, not easy to understand because there is a very thin line between obtaining an ordinary result and an important one. The outcome we have searched for is to express elegant and light notes that remember first of all the rose petals in its different nuances of red, cherry and peach. It comes with a medium structure, but well identified in its elements. Certainly this Tai goes well with smooth and spicy courses. The wine is for those who love mouthfeel and elegance."

" This vine is recognized as the Italian Cabernet, compared to the French brother Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon, it brings a character that underlines a stronger personality, especially at the olfactory level. The notes we often attach to it, is that of green pepper, which seen by itself, certainly don't outline pleasantness, but as a wine it instead enhances it's identity. In this interpretation of ours, we propose a softer and more intriguing wine, having each element expressed with a cleanliness and determination that makes it unique. The small red fruits and perennial herbs are wrapped in a velvety form which makes it harmonious and pleasant. Interesting to bet!"

"The Syrah cultivar is one of the toughest to deal with, first as a grape, then as a wine. The vine is delicate and susceptible to diseases such as botrytis, powdery mildew, and grape moth, and the wine is volatile and can easily lose its character. The great challenge is therefore to guide it gently through these adversities and protect it with great sensitivity. The result is Virgola: a wine of exceptional elegance and finesse, flavorsome, complex, with intense notes of fruit, spices and earthiness."
